Used as an anti-caking agent in table salt to prevent it from clumping. Despite containing cyanide in its chemical name, ferrocyanides are extremely stable and essentially non-toxic at food levels — the cyanide is bound so tightly it is not released in the body. EFSA and FDA consider it safe.
