Naturally occurring magnesium carbonate (MgCO₃). Used as an anti-caking agent in powdered foods, a mild acidity regulator, and a source of dietary magnesium. Also used as a release agent on surfaces during food processing. Non-toxic and considered safe by EFSA and FDA. Provides a useful source of bioavailable magnesium.
